Taming The Light

Next we'll need to line the inside with something that will knock down the light reflections. I purchased this sticky backed velvet at walmart for about 80 cents a piece. I think i used about 4-6 sheets. Cover only the inside of the tube that will not touch the scope. We'll be attaching foam there instead.

If you fold back part of the paper its easier to line up then press the stick part in place and remove the backing and place the rest down.

Notice how much light it knocks down.
