Astronomy is a great hobby for all types, young and old alike. You can experience it at many different levels from casual observing to high tech astrophotography. It can take the form of a relaxing night in your backyard or even a social event with a group at a local star party. The skill involved also varies greatly. It is a very easy hobby to get into yet will provide a lifetime of learning.
